Arden & GEM has been successfully shortlisted, with NHS England Highly Specialised Commissioning, in two categories at the Healthcare Supply Association (HCSA) Awards 2020.
When the four CCGs covering East Kent needed to procure urgent treatment centres to cover nine localities, Arden & GEM’s procurement team was tasked with delivering a complex and innovative procurement programme that would bring together a range of organisations in collaborative arrangements.

When NHS England Highly Specialised Commissioning sought to establish a service to provide pioneering prenatal surgery for foetuses with open spina bifida, a collaborative procurement project with NHS Arden & GEM CSU was initiated.
NHS Arden & GEM CSU has been successful in the ‘Team of the Year – Health’ category at this year’s UK National GO Awards which recognise outstanding achievement and innovation in public procurement.
With the existing contract coming to an end, NHS Nottingham CCG needed to re-procure out of hospital community services for local citizens. Arden & GEM successfully led this collaborative and complex procurement which put a commitment to social value at its heart.
