Last week’s NHS England regional continuing healthcare (CHC) event celebrated Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) achievements in Previously Unassessed Periods of Care (PUPoC).
At the event, four awards were given to CCGs in recognition of the large number of PUPoC cases they managed and completed by 30 September 2016. Three of the four CCGs that achieved this recognition receive end-to-end delivery of PUPoC from Arden & GEM.
Congratulations to Birmingham Cross City CCG, Bedford CCG and Castlepoint and Rochford CCG on this recognition for their outstanding commitment to PUPoC.
Paul Taylor, Head of Arden & GEM Retrospective Review Service, said:
“By working in close collaboration with these clients, Arden & GEM has supported the clinical commissioning groups to deliver against the PHSO expectation of all cases reaching first decision by 30 September. This is a great achievement for all of the CCGs and demonstrates their commitment to delivering an excellent PUPoC service for their population.”
