When COVID-19 hit, health and care organisations needed communications support and resilience to rapidly respond to the pandemic, keeping stakeholders engaged and informed.
NHS Arden & GEM CSU and NHS Midlands and Lancashire CSU brought their combined engagement and communications experience, skills and expertise together to support clients in delivering both their business as usual activities and specific COVID-19 response programmes.
Since March 2020, the combined Engagement, Communications and Marketing service has:
- Delivered 11 annual reports
- Provided digital support to more than 40 websites
- Produced 35 media digests each week
- Fielded 100s of media enquiries.
The service also embraced new technologies and ways of working to deliver a range of digital events and activities including AGMs, engagement events, patient experience surveys and interviews with seldom-heard groups.
