Arden & GEM has been shortlisted in the Health and Wellbeing category of the Investors in People Awards 2021.

Celebrating the very best organisations and individuals from around the world, the Investors in People Awards 2021 has had a record-breaking year for entry with nearly three hundred organisations involved.

Arden & GEM’s shortlisting in the Health and Wellbeing category, for the second successive year, is in recognition of the journey the organisation has undertaken to achieve ‘We invest in wellbeing’ gold status earlier this year. The CSU’s health and wellbeing strategy includes a comprehensive package of wellbeing support including health and safety assessments, health checks, a webinar programme, a monthly wellbeing newsletter, a community site and an Employee Assistance Programme.

“We are incredibly proud to have made the final shortlist in this year’s Investors in People Awards. Prioritising the health and wellbeing of our staff is a fundamental part of our corporate strategy and organisational culture, and I am delighted that this has been recognised externally. The COVID response, as it has for all health and social care organisations, has required us to evolve and adapt our wellbeing approach to meet the changing needs and pressures on our workforce. Staff have embraced these changes and we look forward to further innovation that will continue to make Arden & GEM a great place to work.”

John Parkes, Managing Director at Arden & GEM

Arden & GEM’s latest staff survey showed that 82% of employees felt valued while 95% of employees reported that the popular community site had made them smile.

Winners of the Investors in People Awards will be announced at a virtual event on Tuesday 23 November 2021. The full shortlist is available here

“Now in our 8th year, it always makes me feel immensely proud to see so many fantastic organisations staking their claim to be the best. And every year, the entries do get more and more competitive and the judging even tighter. Reaching the final shortlist is a testament to the amazing commitment these organisations are making to make work better for their people, and they truly deserve this recognition.”

Paul Devoy, CEO at Investors in People
