NHS Arden & GEM CSU is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at this year’s Public Health England Annual Conference.
Held at the University of Warwick on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 September, the event will bring together more than 1500 participants – representing the wide range of organisations contributing to improving the health of the public – for two days of focused learning, experience sharing and networking.
The five track conference programme is focusing on some of the areas where the greatest improvements in health and reductions in health inequalities can be made, with speakers including Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP (Secretary of State for Health and Social Care), Professor Chris Whitty (Chief Scientific Advisor), Jacqueline de Rojas (President of techUK) and Carina Crawford-Khan of Citizens UK.
Specialists from our award-winning Engagement, Communications and Marketing team will be on hand to discuss how we could help health and care systems to get serious about prevention, and better at supporting self-care, by finding and implementing effective ways of influencing an individual to improve his or her health.
While our Digital Transformation experts will be sharing our work to support the creation and use of self-care management tools and apps that enhance the knowledge, skills and confidence of citizens in managing their own health and care. This includes our partnership with Easychange, a range of evidence-based digital self-care applications including programmes for smoking cessation, stress reduction and perinatal health and wellbeing.
We will be exhibiting on stand number 15 in Butterworth Hall and running demonstrations of the Easychange perinatal health and wellbeing offer, Mamma Mia, which is shortly to be launched in the UK.
