Arden & GEM has been successfully shortlisted in two categories at the Investors in People Awards 2020.
The annual awards celebrate the best people management practices across the Investors in People community – recognising organisations that put people above all else.
Arden & GEM’s first shortlisting, in the Best Newcomer category, is in recognition of the journey the CSU has undertaken to achieve Investors in People silver accreditation in 2019 and how its people were integral to that journey. Achieving the accreditation is part of the organisation’s ambition to make Arden & GEM a ‘great place to work’ through a range of initiatives including a new learning and development strategy, the introduction of an innovation hub, and a focus on diversity, inclusion and wellbeing.
The second shortlisting in the Health and Wellbeing category commended Arden & GEM’s embracing of the health and wellbeing agenda and its positive reception by staff. The organisation’s health, wealth and wellbeing programme was introduced in 2018 and is underpinned by a holistic model based on research and best practice. The programme ensured the CSU was well placed to support changes in working practices, implemented in response to COVID-19, keeping employees valued and engaged.
“We are incredibly proud to have been shortlisted in two categories for this year’s Investors in People Awards. This achievement recognises not only the commitment and dedication of our organisation to the highest people management principles but also the enthusiasm and expertise of our staff in embracing our values and applying them in their support of the health and care system. We look forward to working as a team to realise our ambition of gold accreditation.”
Cath Bick, Associate Director of Corporate HR and OD at Arden & GEM
