With the recently published Long Term Plan focusing on the new models of care needed to support population health management, Arden & GEM is collaborating with global innovation consultancy Optimity Advisors to host an exclusive afternoon event to consider some of the digital areas that will be integral to delivering the Plan's priorities.
Taking place in Birmingham on Tuesday 26 February, ‘Smart healthcare and the NHS Long Term Plan’ will look at how digitally enabled initiatives can provide a new and different slant on integration and the transformation of care. Guest speakers include the New Jersey based Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the West Midlands Combined Authority, who will share US and UK perspectives on how improvements in connectivity have expanded their vision for healthcare.
As well as a focus on the wider challenges around access, capacity, integrating suppliers and integrating data – including a session from Stephen Dobson, Chief Digital Officer at Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership – the afternoon will also include speakers from specific digital solutions such as Mapmyhealth – whose offerings include a diabetes and weight management programme.
In addition to the panel of high profile international and UK speakers, the event will also provide time for a plenary session and networking, so attendees can learn more about what their neighbours are doing to deliver smart healthcare, both today and for the next ten years.
