NHS Arden & GEM is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at Health and Care Innovation Expo 2018.

The Expo, held at Manchester Central on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 September, is the main event in the health and care calendar and attracts more than 5,000 delegates to celebrate innovation, enterprise and collaboration. This year’s agenda will include influential speakers – such as Simon Stevens, Matthew Swindells and Professor Jane Cummings – with a focus on making the case for change, renewal and improvement in the NHS and social care.

Experts from our business intelligence, service transformation, procurement, finance and communications teams will be on hand to discuss how we could help you to meet your challenges. We will also be providing demonstrations of our key insight systems including:

  • The National Commissioning Data Repository (NCDR) portal – developed to empower CCGs to collaborate for the commissioning of specialised services and ensure planning is joined up throughout STP footprints.
  • Our bespoke Risk Stratification tool – that utilises Johns Hopkins Adjusted Clinical Group (ACG) methodology to enable commissioning that anticipates growth in demand and also provides opportunities for early interventions to reduce the likelihood of unplanned emergency admissions.

Our social marketing team will also be leading a pop-up university workshop at 1pm on Wednesday 5 titled ‘Improving health outcomes through behaviour change: the impact social marketing is making for prevention and self-care’. The session will be co-presented by our Senior Social Marketing Lead, Jack Linstead and Diabetes UK Patient Champion, Tony Kelly. You can find out more, and book onto the session, at the Expo 18 website.

Arden & GEM will be exhibiting on stand number 81; if you would like to pre-book an appointment with a member of the team please email us at contact.ardengem@nhs.net.
