Arden & GEM’s Advanced Analytics Unit will be joining this year’s Health and Care Analytics (HACA) conference which takes place on 23 and 24 July at Telford International Centre.
The HACA conference is a celebration of health and care analytics, bringing together analysts, leaders and decision-makers to showcase how analysts can help leaders make high quality decisions.
Now in its second year, HACA 2024 has an exciting programme filled with quality speakers, thought-provoking plenary sessions, learning sessions, poster presentations and workshops.
The Advanced Analytics Unit will be delivering two presentations at the event:
- Day 1: Predicting deaths on the waiting list – Kamil Barczak, Data Scientist (Beckbury: Stream 4, 16.10-16.35)
- Day 2: An early warning system to flag uncontrolled hypertension – Farah Adam, Data Scientist, and An Te, Data Scientist, (Wenlock: Stream 3, 11.30-11.55).
While further projects can be discovered in the poster presentations area on both days:
- Demand and capacity modelling across an Integrated Care System – Ben Alcock, Principal Data Scientist, and Kamil Barczak, Data Scientist
- Forecasting short-term demand for the COVID-19 vaccine – Prasanth Peddaayyavarla, Head of Data Science, and Muizdeen Raji, Senior Data Scientist.
