Pause in routine complaints service during COVID-19

Due to the coronavirus outbreak many key members of staff within NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit have been focussing on duties to assist with incident planning arrangements. Following guidance from NHS England and NHS Improvement, Arden & GEM has taken the decision to pause its routine complaints process.

We will continue to review, acknowledge and log any new complaints received, and will act upon any urgent concerns about patient safety or safeguarding matters during this period. However, we will be unable to investigate your routine complaint or provide you with a timeframe in which you can expect to receive a formal response.

Please be assured that we will resume our routine complaints service, as soon as possible. We recognise the rapidly evolving situation is causing uncertainty and we appreciate your support and understanding at this challenging time.
