Arden & GEM’s Executive Director of Strategy, Planning and Innovation, Alison Tonge, will be joining the NHS Integrating Care Conference on Wednesday 2 October 2024 to share how a dynamic connected planning approach can support our aspirations to deliver better integrated care.
The eighth NHS Integrating Care Conference, hosted by Convenzis, will take place in London to explore how systems aim to seamlessly connect healthcare providers to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care. Titled ‘Building Interoperable Systems’, the event is free for NHS senior leaders and decision-makers.
Alison’s keynote presentation, taking place at 13:00, will focus on how a dynamic planning approach can help us in achieving our aspiration to deliver better integrated care within a complex NHS system. The session will explore:
- the need to understand interdependencies and drivers, and most importantly, how we measure our resources and performance across a team, division, organisation, population or system
- how a dynamic connected planning approach enables transparency between the care we plan and deliver, and the capacity, workforce, supplies and facilities needed
- challenges, opportunities and case studies in implementing this approach.
Chaired by Dr Gurnak Singh Dosanjh, from NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland ICB, the conference offers a valuable opportunity for healthcare professionals and IT experts to come together and discuss the latest challenges, strategies, innovation and learning across the health and care system.
