We are delighted to begin providing commissioning support services in Essex this week (from 1 July) and look forward to welcoming new clients and colleagues, as we work collaboratively to deliver high quality, flexible, patient centred services.
After months of careful planning, NHS Arden & GEM will begin formally working with seven Essex CCGs, who serve a total population of 1.8 million people, to deliver:
The appointment was based on Arden & GEM’s successful track record in developing strategic partnerships that deliver collaboration, co-operation and co-design to improve outcomes within a financially challenging and fast paced local health economy. Management of the three year contract will be overseen by a dedicated Chief Operating Officer, Anthony Upshall.
To ensure a smooth transition from the existing service, and sustainability for staff members already involved in service delivery, a number of North East London Commissioning Support Unit staff have successfully transferred across to Arden & GEM.
