Arden & GEM is delighted to have been shortlisted in three different categories at the 2017 Health Business Awards. Recognising and celebrating the significant contributions made by organisations working inside and alongside the NHS, the Health Business Awards showcase health sector success stories.

Arden & GEM’s Clinical IT team has been shortlisted in the Healthcare IT Award for their project, with NHS Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group, to develop a child safeguarding template for GPs. The template is now in use in 30 primary care settings and has received positive feedback from users, including the Local Medical Committee.

Our Business Intelligence team is recognised in the Patient Data Award category for their use of Risk Stratification tools. Our suite of Risk Stratification reports, which combine primary and secondary care data, have been utilised to help organisations predict behaviours such as unplanned admissions and intervene earlier to improve patient care and reduce the burden on emergency services.

While our Engagement, Communications and Marketing team’s campaign to help people stay well during winter 2016/17 is shortlisted for the Publicity Campaign Award. Focusing on educating the public about prevention and on accessing the right health services at the right time, the seasonal campaign supported an increase in flu vaccination uptake among vulnerable groups and an increased confidence in choosing the right health service for different illnesses.

The winners will be announced at a lunchtime ceremony in London on 14 December.
