Senior appointments announced in Norfolk and Waveney

Nigel Cullumbine has been appointed to the substantive post of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Arden & GEM in Norfolk & Waveney. Nigel has been working as Interim COO for the past four months, successfully overseeing the transition of Norfolk and Waveney services to Arden & GEM. Meanwhile, Frank Hume has been confirmed as Deputy COO in Norfolk & Waveney. 

Nigel has already brought significant knowledge of the local health economy to his role. He has 12 years' experience of working for the NHS.  

He began his NHS career as a project manager in an acute trust and went on to become Chief Information Officer at Anglia CSU. He returned to Norfolk to take up the interim role having spent three years working for the NHS in London. 

Frank has 28 years' experience of working within and in support of the NHS including, managing GP practices, GP clusters and consortia, running a primary care group as well as holding senior management/executive level positions in a Strategic Health Authority; Primary Care Trust, private sector consultancy firms and CSUs.  

In 2014, Frank moved to Norfolk and Waveney as Director of Contracting and Delivery.
