Arden & GEM to exhibit at Health and Care Innovation Expo 2017


Arden & GEM is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at Health and Care Innovation Expo.

The event, held at Manchester Central on 11 – 12 September, showcases innovation and celebrates the people who are changing the NHS. With high-profile speakers and a real focus on learning and sharing, the event attracts around 5,000 people across two days, the majority of whom are leaders and managers with real ability to lead and drive change in health and social care. This year will also see focus on the actions that can be taken to deliver the vision of the NHS Five Year Forward View, across all parts of our health and social care services.

We will be showcasing our entire service portfolio with a specific emphasis on digital transformation, business intelligence, finance, procurement and personal health budgets.

Our experts will also be leading a pop-up university workshop and presenting in the digital zone:

  • Toby Holder, Personalisation and PHB Manager, will be hosting a joint workshop with NHS England where he will explore emerging good practice, the progress and next steps with personalising people’s care through personal health budgets.
  • Adrian Smith, Head of Digital Transformation - Tuesday 12 September - 10.15 - 10.35am

Adrian will be presenting his thoughts on re-imagining healthcare in urban and rural environments. In this briefing he will look at the ways in which innovative, digital solutions are talking the challenges of re-imagining healthcare solutions in urban and rural environments.

During the Expo our experts will also be delivering demonstrations of Arden & GEM’s Business Intelligence capabilities including:

  • The Arden & GEM Clinical Registries (AGCR) application that optimises the use of clinical registry data to deliver a wealth of information to support improvements across conditions of specific interest for your health economy.
  • The National Commissioning Data Repository (NCDR) portal developed to empower CCGs in order to collaborate for the commissioning of Specialised Services and ensure planning is joined up throughout STP footprints.
  • Our bespoke Risk Stratification tool that utilises Johns Hopkins Adjusted Clinical Group (ACG) methodology to enable commissioning that anticipates growth in demand as patients age and also provides opportunities for early interventions to reduce the likelihood of unplanned emergency admissions.
  • GEMIMA our unique Business Intelligence tool.
